As part of the crOss renoHome project, standardized contracts have been developed to provide additional support to citizens and other stakeholders involved in energy renovation processes.
These contract templates have been developed for two key contractual relationships:
- between homeowners and designers
- between homeowners and contractors
Contracts between homeowners and contractors have been developed separately for single-family homes and multi-apartment buildings, taking into account the specific characteristics of both segments and the different needs of users.
The aim of these standardized contracts is to clearly define the roles, responsibilities and expectations of all parties involved, contribute to greater transparency in the implementation of renovation projects, and reduce the legal risks and uncertainties that often accompany renovation processes.
Developed in cooperation with legal experts, the contracts represent a practical tool that facilitates preparation and contracting of works for users, while also fostering greater trust among stakeholders involved.
These contract templates form part of the virtual crOss renoHome One-Stop-Shop, where they provide users with additional support in preparing and implementing energy renovations, alongside other available tools, information and services.
The development of standardized contracts marks another important step for the crOss renoHome project in removing barriers to energy renovation and creating an integrated support model for citizens throughout the renovation journey.
