Public Call Open for Co-Financing of Solar Power Plants on Family Homes

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU) has launched a new public call

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU) has launched a new public call for co-financing the installation of photovoltaic solar power plants on family homes and associated auxiliary structures. The aim of this call is to encourage citizens to use renewable energy sources and increase household energy independence.

Only natural persons – owners of family homes who have registered residence at the address of the house at the time the power plant is commissioned – are eligible to apply. Co-financing is available for solar power plants that are installed and commissioned on or after January 1, 2025. Only costs incurred and paid after this date are considered eligible.

The Fund will cover up to 50% of eligible project costs, or up to a maximum of EUR 600 per kilowatt of the installed system’s nominal capacity. The nominal capacity is defined as the lowest value among the approved grid connection capacity, the peak power of the solar panels, and the power of the inverter.

Applications can be submitted starting June 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM, exclusively via the eFZOEU information system, accessible at: https://fondovi.gov.hr. Access to the system requires authentication using high-security credentials from the National Identification and Authentication System (NIAS).
