On Thursday, June 19th, the first of three free workshops was held at the climate-energy office KLIK, where citizens received detailed information about the opportunities provided by the Public call for promoting energy efficiency in households. Within the scope of this call, the City of Križevci is co-financing the development of the main project for solar power plants with up to 80%, the installation of solar power plants with 50% or 80%, and fully financing attic insulation for energy-vulnerable households. For all these activities, the City has allocated 200,000 euros for this year.
The workshop attracted many interested citizens who took the opportunity to gather important information about the Call and to get direct answers to specific questions about obtaining subsidies, installing solar power plants, and attic insulation from local designers, contractors, and City representatives.
Members of several local companies participated in the workshop, providing detailed instructions on the technical aspects of preparing project documentation and answering citizens’ questions about the latest technologies in the field of solar energy and thermal insulation. Ivana Dubravec, an advisor for energy efficiency, environmental protection, and spatial planning for the City of Križevci, answered all questions regarding the conditions of the competition and project eligibility.
The workshop was interactive, and the numerous interesting questions confirmed how important awareness and education on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources are to citizens, especially those at risk of energy poverty. Besides the Public Call, the crOss renoHome project was introduced, through which the KLIK office will become a one-stop shop for energy renovation.
The next workshop on the same topic, for those who could not attend the first one, will be held on July 11th at 6 p.m.
