Financial injection from Croatian government for energy renovation directed towards citizens in 2024 – A public call for energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings in 2024 

The new call for energy renovation of residential buildings will be co-financed within the framework of the Addition to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026. Its goal is to reach the European level of quality of residential buildings and achieve significant annual savings in thermal energy and reduce CO2 emissions, contributing to the decarbonization of buildings and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

As part of the conference “7th Open Dialogue of Partners – It’s Time for Green Renovation,” a new a Public call for energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings was presented, which was then opened on  29th March 2024. The call is worth 94.2 million euros, with an additional 25.7 million euros co-financing projects that applied and met the criteria of the public call in 2022 but did not receive funding at that time. There are 91 projects in question.

There are three categories of renovation – integral, deep, and comprehensive. The call will be conducted as an open procedure based on the modality of a temporary call. It will be open for at least 60 days and will be available on the website of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction, and State Property.
