The partners of the crOss renoHome project held their regular semi-annual coordination meeting in person on March 26, 2026, in the city of Zagreb, where they discussed activities carried out so far and plans for the upcoming period.
Representatives of the partner organizations DOOR, KLIK, and GBC participated in the meeting, with discussions focused on further developing activities that make energy-efficient building renovation easier for citizens, cities, and companies.
Marketplace Platform in Preparation
One of the key project activities is the development of a Marketplace platform, which will provide citizens with information in one place about companies, services, and solutions for energy renovation. The partners are currently working on finalizing the platform details and collecting contacts of service providers.
Upcoming Important Events
Of particular note is the GBC Connect Forum, which will be held from April 21–23, 2026, in Šibenik. This three-day forum will bring together industry representatives, experts, and decision-makers to discuss key topics such as the green transition, energy renovation of buildings, and the implementation of new European regulations in the construction sector. Registration for the event – here.
Focus on Supporting Cities and Citizens
An important topic discussed was the possibility of creating roadmaps, as well as presenting social plans for cities and municipalities that wish to develop measures to combat energy poverty. This activity is carried out as part of the LIFE Rehabita project, and local communities can receive expert support in planning and implementing measures. For more information, contact door@info.hr.
The partners also discussed the EPAH call, whose application deadline has been extended to April 17, 2026. The call allows cities and municipalities to submit projects aimed at addressing energy poverty. More information is available via the link.
The partners expressed great satisfaction with the results achieved by the project and the positive impact crOss renoHome is already having on local communities and society as a whole. They look forward to continued cooperation, new activities, and opportunities to strengthen the green transition in Croatia.
