The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU) has announced the temporary closure of its Solar PV Co-financing Public Call on September 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The call, which opened on June 6, 2025, invited applications from homeowners for solar panel installations.

In just over two months, approximately 4,100 project applications were submitted and are now under evaluation.

The call targeted private individuals (homeowners or co-owners) installing solar panels for their own electricity use (on roofs or auxiliary buildings), offering up to 50 % cost coverage, capped at €600 per kW of installed capacity .

Over the past two years, the fund has co-financed around 5,600 solar PV installations, helping households lower energy bills and enhance energy independence.

The evaluation of applications is ongoing. Eligible applicants with complete documentation will receive support. Depending on available funds and outcomes, the call may be reopened in the future.
