The KLIK Climate-Energy Office continued its series of workshops designed to inform the citizens of Križevci about the Public Call for promoting energy efficiency in households. The project manager, Martina Nemčić, kicked off the workshop by introducing the crOss renoHome project, through which the KLIK office will be transformed into a one-stop shop for energy renovation, offering citizens a centralized resource to learn how to improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
During the workshop, participants received a comprehensive overview of the Public call, which includes co-financing options for home solar power plants and attic insulation with glass wool. Depending on household income, the City offers funding that covers 50% or even 80% of these costs. The program places a strong emphasis on combating energy poverty, allowing at-risk households to receive 80% co-financing for solar power plants and 100% for attic insulation.
Following the presentation on eligibility, the application process, required documentation, and deadlines, citizens were invited to ask questions. In addition to the KLIK team, project designers and solar power plant contractors from Križevci were on hand to provide answers.
The questions covered a wide range of topics, from experiences with HEP infrastructure, relocating meters to the exterior of houses, technical specifications for power plants, to choosing the best contractors. The workshop also featured citizens who already have solar power plants installed, sharing their experiences with both the systems and the application process for various co-financing options.
The next and final workshop related to the Križevci Public Call for promoting energy efficiency will be held at KLIK on July 25th.
Until then, KLIK will continue to assist citizens with gathering the necessary documentation and submitting their applications for this subsidy program
