On October 25, 2024, the Society for Sustainable Development Design (DOOR) organized a roundtable at HUB385 in Zagreb, focusing on energy poverty and transport-related vulnerabilities. At the event, Anamari Majdandžić introduced the One Stop Shop (OSS), a central advisory center for residents of Zagreb and surrounding municipalities, where citizens can obtain all necessary information and support for comprehensive home energy renovation.
The roundtable gathered experts in climate policy, representatives from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Environmental Protection Fund, and international specialists from ECORYS Croatia. Discussions addressed the impact of new emissions trading systems on citizens, potential energy cost increases, and the measures outlined in the Social Climate Policy Plan that aim to facilitate the transition to a greener energy future.
The OSS center is part of the crOss renoHome and Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) projects, which aim to improve quality of life by lowering energy costs and ensuring that sustainable options are accessible to all community groups.
