The crOss renoHome project has published the report D3.2: Standardized Guidelines for Energy Renovation of Single-Family Homes and Multi-Apartment Buildings, providing homeowners and energy advisors with clear and practical instructions for efficient energy renovation.
Developed by experts from KLIK, DOOR, and the Green Building Council Croatia, these guidelines offer step-by-step advice on planning renovations, selecting contractors, and accessing financial support. The document emphasizes deep energy renovation as a key strategy for reducing energy consumption, lowering household costs, and improving indoor living conditions.
To make the renovation process easier, the guidelines include:
✅ Checklists for single-family homes and multi-apartment buildings
✅ Overview of financing options, including public grants and bank loans
✅ Key steps for a successful renovation, from initial planning to project completion
With these user-friendly guidelines, homeowners can make informed decisions and take advantage of available resources to improve their homes. The document will be regularly updated to reflect new regulations and insights from the field.
This initiative is part of the crOss renoHome project, funded by the European Union’s LIFE program, supporting the transition to energy-efficient and sustainable housing.
