The purpose of the workshop was to provide valuable information to citizens on how to apply for the “Public Call for Energy Renovation of Family Houses 2024.” Owners of family houses (who meet the criteria of the Public Call) can expect up to a maximum of 60% co-financing. Furthermore, the co-financing conditions were presented, along with how citizens can apply for the announced call from the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund.
In the first part of the presentation, there was a general overview of the public call. The second part provided more information on the legal aspects of the application, while the third part contained technical information about the energy renovation itself and the technical requirements of the Call. The key facilitator was Sanela Mikulčić Šantić (KLIK), with technical support from energy certifiers Krunoslav Škrlec and Dejan Kovačić, as well as solar project designer Igor Tomić.
Thirty-seven citizens attended the workshop, most of whom came prepared as they had been awaiting the call for 2 years. The most common questions were about the documentation required for the application and the legal status of the property; possibilities for co-financing multiple measures, and detailed explanations of certain terms used in the Call.
The workshop was held on January 26, 2024, at the Energy and Climate Office, I.Z. Dijankovečki 8, Križevci, as part of the cross renoHome project co-financed by the European Union under the LIFE program.
