KLIK held a workshop for citizens who wish to apply for subsidies for solar power plants from 2024

For all citizens who built their solar power plant during 2024 and plan to apply for subsidies from the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU), KLIK organized an informational workshop on October 27, ahead of the opening of the public call.
Participants received a detailed overview of the call’s conditions, as well as individual answers to questions related to their specific cases. The KLIK team also checked the possibility of double financing, since FZOEU allows combining its support with other funding sources—so long as the additional source is not FZOEU itself.

When and how can applications be submitted?
Applications open on October 29, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. and can be submitted exclusively online—by entering data and uploading documentation into the eFZOEU information system, accessible via the portal fondovi.gov.hr.

Who can apply?
Co-financing is available for solar power plants that were:
● installed between January 1 and December 31, 2024
● commissioned between January 1, 2024 and June 6, 2025

The subsidy covers up to 50% of eligible costs, or a maximum of 600 euros per kW of the photovoltaic plant’s rated power.

Citizens may receive support even if they have already obtained funding from another source, such as a local government unit (e.g., the City of Križevci). The only requirement is that total co-financing does not exceed 100% of the project’s eligible costs.

Where can documents and additional information be found?
All information regarding the public call, as well as application documentation, is available on the FZOEU website, and at OSS Zagreb (DOOR) and OSS Križevci (KLIK).
