Slavonski Brod, Sisak, Kutina – As of today, September 2, 2025 at 9:00 AM, residents of Slavonski Brod, Sisak, and Kutina can apply for a public call to co-finance the replacement of old household heating systems. This €10 million pilot project is being implemented by the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition. Who Can Apply

Owners of family houses

Apartment owners in multi-residential buildings, but only in areas categorized as second air quality category

Eligible locations are those with increased levels of air pollution, mainly due to long-standing industrial activities in petrochemicals, metallurgy, and energy production.
What is Co-Financed
The program covers the replacement of:

old stand-alone solid fuel stoves
-
conventional central heating systems
with more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions such as:

pyrolytic wood boilers
-
heat pumps
-
photovoltaic solar systems
Amount of Support and Conditions

The maximum grant per household is up to €16,150.

Required documentation includes proof of ownership, proof of legal building status, and proof of residence at the application address for at least 30 days.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the eFZOEU platform.

Professional assistance in preparing applications is also subsidized, and applications may be submitted by a third party (with a notarized power of attorney).
